About the Event
Breathing is something we do from the moment we are born. Without breathing we cannot maintain to live. In yoga, we learn how to “breathe consciously”. Breathing not only allow us to live, but also assists us in connecting with the subtle energy within. By learning how to breathe consciously, we can start connecting to our body and mind, including our emotions.
In this workshop, we learn how to breathe... Through yogic breathing, we learn how to relax, stay in present moment to connect deeper to our body and mind. We will take some gentle movements of yoga asana (postures) to open and relax our body and mind. We also learn how to deepen our breath by understanding the movements of our lungs and diaphragm.
No yoga experience required for this workshop. Come and join Yumi Kaneko for her 2 hour workshop!
When: Sunday 18th August, 10am - 12noon.
What to bring: we provide all mats and props but you're welcome to bring your own.
