KIDS & TEENS YOGA

Welcome to our Kids & Teens Classes!

We love sharing yoga with everyone, especially children!

Our classes are fun-filled and playfully instructed by highly qualified, Kids Yoga Teachers who are passionate about kids and yoga! In every class we incorporate traditional yoga asana and breathwork and fun mindfulness activities, not only to encourage physical movement, but to also teach children techniques that will help calm their minds and be more present.  We include, songs, games, story-time, crafts, and balancing poses as well some Zen time, so that your littlie leaves feeling confident, calm and centered. For the older groups we also include things like empowerment techniques, self-compassion, stress management activities, journaling, dream boards and sharing circles.

Benefits of Yoga for Children

There are so many benefits and reasons why yoga is great for kids! Here's some, just to name a few:

  • Yoga builds self-esteem

  • Is non-competitive

  • Improves concentration

  • Improves balance and coordination

  • Teaches respect, gratitude and teamwork

  • Teaches techniques to connect with and regulate emotions

  • Helps to calm, reduce stress and sensory overload

Structure & Fees

Classes are held once a week in 8 week blocks to coincide with school terms and each term will usually have a set theme. We encourage parents to enroll your child in the full term so they are able to receive the full benefits of the classes, however we do accept casual bookings.

No classes on public holidays, this is considered in the pricing.

We offer three age groups, however class group is at the discretion of the teacher & parent: 

  • Little Yogis: Ages 1-4 years is a 30 minute class and most often the parent/carer will participate.

      $104 for the full term or $15 casual class.

Earlybird Special: $79 if you book 1 week before the term start date:  PROMO: EARLYKIDS2024-1

  • Kids Yoga: Ages 5 to 9 years (45min class)  |  Yoga for Young Teens:  10 up to 16 years (45min class)

      $120 for the full term of $17 casual class.

Earlybird Special: $99, if you book before the term start date: PROMO: EARLYKIDS2024-2

What to bring?

Water bottle and comfy clothes. No socks or shoes are required during class - let those feet free!

You don't need a mat! We supply hypoallergenic mats free-of-charge.

Our kids yoga teachers are qualified yoga teachers trained in teaching yoga to children, have a current bluecard, First Aid and CPR certifications.

Caroline Profille 2.jpg

Caroline is the founder of myDrishti Yoga and is currently writing the Kids Yoga Teacher Training course for My Health Yoga. Caroline is passionate about making yoga fun for children of all ages, but also equipping them with lifelong skills to be able to apply what they're learning outside of a yoga class - in the classroom, playground, at home, ~ in their every day life.
