About us:
Carolina; I'm the founder of our beautiful sacred space myDrishti yoga and an avid nature lover, senior yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer. My cultural linage is Mapuche Araucano, South American Indigenous Indian. I have a strong connection in honouring my ancestors and am pulled to constantly submerge myself in nature, so you will find me heading into nature as often as I can to re-centre and recharge. Whether it's in the mountains, hinterlands, the beachside, countryside... yes I do hug trees (there's science behind it!). I'm so excited and looking forward to sharing how grounding and immersing yourself in nature is so healing and why we need it, particularly with our current lifestyles. A reiki master and yoga therapist I always base our workshops around yoga philosophy, therapy, vibration and energy but also get excited and passionate to explain some of the science around this (which is finally catching up to these ancient practices).
Jen; Jen is a huge nature lover, yoga teacher and Her Trails run group maven. Nature is my anchor back to spirit, back to the natural rhythm of life.
When we connect to the cyclic nature of the planet, we begin to understand that life too ebbs and flows. It’s the Vinyasa of Life. Harnessing this knowledge has a profound impact on my mental and physical wellbeing. The outdoors plays a huge role in my wellbeing as an avid trail runner, water lover, mountain hiker and barefoot walker. It is the place I come to ground and expand simultaneously.
