About the event

Would you know what to do if your child started choking? Had an anaphylactic reaction? Or stopped breathing? Join the paramedics at Rescueblue for a truly valuable Little Aid Workshop.

Rescueblue teach a fun, hands on and immersive Paediatric First Aid workshop  The workshop is tailored towards parents, carers and kids yoga teachers for ages 0 to 12 years. This is a practical, hands-on workshop teaching you exactly what to do if a child faced a life threatening emergency.

The workshop will be delivered to you by Jess, a Paramedic of 12 years and a mother of two who is passionate about sharing life saving knowledge with parents in our community.

The Little Aid Workshop covers:

  • The crucial steps to basic life support
  • How to manage sever bleeding
  • Head injuries
  • Identifying the symptoms of meningococcal
  • Croup
  • Fever and febrile convulsions
  • Anaphylaxis and Epipen use
  • Burns
  • Choking
  • CPR (the various techniques used for a baby, toddler and adult)
