About the event

Join Varsha Yoga at myDrishti Yoga for The Art of Rest. Take a two and a half hour journey through slow vinyasa, nourishing pranayama (breathing), restorative yoga, restful yoga nidra, and blissful, mindfulness meditation. Learn how to properly relax not just the physical body, but also your mind, thoughts, and central nervous system. ​

We carry a lot of stored stress in our physical bodies. The society that we live in encourages a constant state of mild stress response. We glorify a busy life, and fill all of our free time with endless doing. We need to learn to reconnect to the natural rest and digest state of being. That beautiful space where nothing matters, we have nowhere to be and nothing to do. That place where we can truly allow the body, mind and soul to REST. This is the Art of Rest. I will take you to this space.

Sunday October 28th, 4:00pm - 6:30pm at myDrishti Yoga, 39-41 Balaclava Street, Woolloongabba

Cost: $40 - Bookings are essential.

What to bring: All of your stress, fear and anxiety (we'll dispose of it there). Mats and props are provided but feel free to bring your own.
